Throw Your Fork in the Wheel of Depression!
"Once again I have had to face my relationship with Depression. I had to remind myself it is not my enemy. Depression is a partner to me in my journey; one to teach me the depths of myself on my soul's path."
-Heather Marie, Journal Entry
Depression sucks, any way you slice it!
I know. Depression is a part of my life, too. It can be a very dark and lonely place. It's easy to feel defeated by it and powerless to change anything. It can feel like you just keep living the same BS over and over again.
It doesn't have to stay that way, though. It doesn't have to keep moving along continually expressing itself in the same old, destructive ways.
We each have the power to change our relationship with depression. We don't have to resist it, fighting constantly, nor do we have to resign ourselves to it, giving up in defeat.
We merely have to choose to take our power back within the relationship.
We choose what we believe, what we focus our thoughts on, and what we do in any moment to influence our energy in the positive. It takes awareness and a lot of practice!
Climbing out of those dark pits is not fun.
It's painful. It leaves scars.
Learning how to stretch and take up space takes uncomfortable practice.
It's weird doing things differently after living in those pits.
If you just need a bit of encouragement, an understanding shoulder, a listening ear, and some practical guidance as you travel this path, I'm here for you! Email me below or find me on social media.
My goal is to help you see the magic that lies within you so you can embrace your personal power and live differently, even if depression continues to walk alongside you. When you change the dynamics of your relationship with depression, everything else can change with it!
